Live Flesh - Smitten child of a prostitute is imprisoned for accidentally shooting and paralyzing a cop. Original tale of teenager's mistake that takes him to prison. Spanish language. Cinematically stimulating, albeit, with a bravura finale. Cast includes Pedro Almodovar, Liberto Rabal, Francesca Neri, Javier Bardem, Angela Molina, Jose Sancho, and Penelope Cruz. Richard's Things - Widow Ullmann is seduced by her late spouse's lady friend. Screenplay by Frederic Raphael based on his novel. Cast includes Liv Ullmann, Amanda Redman, Tim Smith, Elizabeth Spriggs, and David Markha. (104 minutes, 1980)

Sugar Town - Compelling variety of LA life characterizing a handful of characters whose lives fit together - a musician would-be who will do anything to get ahead, an uptight lone lady who allures the inappropriate men like a magnet, and a band made up of cleaned-up '80s rock stars, to name a few. Made on a shoestring, although intelligent and well recognized; outstanding cast contains a variety of real life musicians. Cast includes Ally Sheedy, Rosanna Arquette, John Taylor, Jade Gordon, Michael Des Barres, Lucinda Jenney, and Martin Kemp. (92 minutes, 1999)

Thunderheart - There have been a number of killings on the Sioux Indian Reservation. The FBI goes in to deal with the circumstances. One agent, Ray Levoi, has Sioux blood. As he examines the case he soon finds out there is much more going on than some accidental murders.

The Interpreter - U.N. translator Silvia Broome overhears a death threat made against an African leader. She knows that she was watched and fears for her life. Upon reporting the event to law enforcement, she finds that help will not come easy.

Ruby Gentry - Pompous, strolling account of simple-minded Southerner Jones wedding prosperous Malden to spite Heston, the man she loves Cast includes Jennifer Jones, Charlton Heston, Karl Malden, and Josephine Hutchinson. (82 minutes, 1952)

Bewitched - Isabelle is a witch, living in the San Fernando Valley, and trying to not use her supernatural powers. She finds herself being courted by actor Jack Watt to play the role of Samantha the witch in a remake of the old 1960's sitcom Bewitched. What a strange twist of fate.

The All-American Boy - Jumbled drama in reference to Olympic hopeful Voight's attempt to be a triumphant boxer; striking locations of northern California, but that is all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)

10,000 B.C. - Warlords have attacked a small mountain tribe in prehistoric times. They have captured the exquisite Evolet. D'Leh, who loves Evolet, leads a small party of men prepared to go the ends of the Earth to rescue Evolet. - 33386
